LawSites Enhances User Experience with New Sidebar Feature for Exploring Legal Tech Products

In an effort to enhance user experience and provide greater value to its readers, LawSites has introduced a novel feature that allows for more in-depth exploration of legal products and categories mentioned in its posts. When readers peruse articles on LawSites, they will now notice a new sidebar feature that includes direct links to related product listings in the LawNext Legal Technology Directory.

The sidebar links are classified into two categories:

  • Links to any products explicitly mentioned within the post.
  • Links to products that fall within the discussed legal tech categories. Specifically, the sidebar displays the five highest-ranked products in these categories.

For example, a recent post highlighted an agreement between Smokeball, a law practice management company, and the State Bar of Texas to offer free trust accounting software to Texas bar members. The sidebar adjacent to this post features links to Smokeball and Nota, both mentioned within the text, as well as other products related to ‘law practice management suites’ and ‘accounting/finance’.

This functionality not only aids readers in acquiring detailed information about specific products but also helps vendors gain greater exposure. Feedback suggests that since the feature’s launch some products have seen a notable increase in impressions.

During the initial launch phase, which runs through the end of July, all product listings—regardless of their type—will be highlighted in these new sections. Come August 1, however, only products with enhanced listings will appear in the sidebar sections. Vendors with basic listings are encouraged to upgrade to enhanced listings by this date to maintain their visibility. Enhanced listings offer numerous advantages, including improved branding, visibility, and customer engagement.

Vendors interested in comparing pricing tiers can do so here, or they can visit the vendor portal to add or update their listings.
