Protestors from the climate activist group “Lawyers Are Responsible” have been demonstrating outside Linklaters’ London office, urging the firm to refuse new fossil fuel infrastructure projects. The group’s actions follow the release of research indicating Linklaters as a top advisor in fossil fuel transactions. One social media post from the group suggested a significant involvement by the firm, stating: “Morning @LinklatersLLP, come say hi, we’re outside with some research from @LS4CA hot off the press, guess who ranked in the worst top five on fossil fuel transactions?”
