LGBTQ+ Representation Gap Persists Between Junior Lawyers and Partners in Top Law Firms, Survey Finds



Law.com International has published new data revealing a significant discrepancy in LGBTQ+ representation between junior lawyers and partners within leading law firms. The survey shows that junior lawyers and trainees identifying as LGBTQ+ are represented at markedly higher rates than their counterparts at the partner level. Among the 54 firms participating in the survey, nearly all reported a greater proportion of LGBTQ+ associates and trainees compared to partners.
