“Selendy Gay Tops LGBTQ+ Representation in Major Law Firms, Latest Scorecard Reveals”

Among the nation’s 350 largest law firms by attorney headcount, 223 have reported the number of self-identified LGBTQ+ associates, partners, and attorneys of other ranks at their firms. A new entrant tops the list for LGBTQ+ attorney representation in the latest LGBTQ+ Scorecard. For New York litigation boutique Selendy Gay, just over 15% of attorneys self-reported being on the LGBTQ+ spectrum. Jenner & Block followed closely with more than 14%. Washington, D.C.-based environmental law firm Beveridge & Diamond tied with Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton for the third position, both with nearly 10% representation.
