Lucas Love has made a return to Carlsmith Ball as of counsel in its Honolulu office, the firm announced recently. Love previously worked with the firm from 2015 to 2021 before venturing to other opportunities.
During his career, Love has specialized in tax law. He had a notable tenure at Baker McKenzie’s Palo Alto, California office, where he consulted Silicon Valley companies on international tax planning and federal tax controversy matters.
Before embarking on his legal career, Love was a staff auditor at one of the premier accounting firms in the United States, which provided him with a solid foundation in financial auditing and compliance.
