FDA Raises Concerns Over Eye Bank’s Acceptance of Donors with Possible Sepsis



The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently alleged that the Indiana Lions Eye Bank accepted donors who either had a sepsis diagnosis or showed clinical signs of sepsis, raising concerns within the organ-transplant industry. According to the FDA, five donors were identified under these conditions.
