Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin appointed Khalid Jones the state’s Lottery Director in April. Jones, a graduate of Stanford Law School (JD ’03), has an extensive background in law with a focus on securities litigation, real estate, media, sports, and technology. He has also provided legal and strategic advice to state and national lottery organizations nationwide. This appointment marks a significant addition to the leadership team in Virginia’s lottery operations, leveraging Jones’ diverse expertise to oversee and advance the state’s lottery initiatives.
