Madison Square Garden Sports has promoted General Counsel Jamaal Lesane to Chief Operating Officer, placing him in charge of business operations and strategy for its flagship sports teams, the New York Knicks and New York Rangers. Lesane has been serving in a dual role as both General Counsel and Interim COO since April, following the departure of David Hopkinson.
