After an extended legal battle spanning over five years, a Coral Gables attorney, Ana Frexes of Frexes Law, has secured a favorable ruling regarding her claim for a 25% referral fee. Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Jose Rodriguez ruled that both Podhurst Orseck and one of its former partners, Michael Olin, are jointly liable to pay the fee. This decision follows a four-day bench trial and pertains to settlements the law firm obtained in aviation litigation, a specialized area for Podhurst Orseck.
