Michele Beilke and Julia Trankiem have joined Seyfarth Shaw as partners in the labor and employment team, the firm announced on Monday. In addition, the firm has expanded its labor and employment department with the recruitment of three new lawyers: Galit Knotz, Blake Guerrero, and Steven Morphy, who will join as counsel. The transition sees these professionals moving from their previous roles at Hunton Andrews Kurth.
Based primarily in Los Angeles, the new recruits bring a wealth of experience to Seyfarth Shaw. Beilke specializes in litigating state and national wage and hour class actions, as well as handling discrimination and harassment claims under both state and federal law. Trankiem will split her time between the firm’s Houston and Los Angeles offices, providing national representation to employers on critical employment issues.
