New Jersey Emerges as Key Player in International Dispute Resolution with New Mediation Center

New Jersey as a Hub for International Dispute Resolution

International trade is exploding, but American businesses doing business in other countries can still struggle to resolve disputes and enforce judgments. In response to this growing need, the Global Mediation Exchange Center has opened its doors in Jersey City, New Jersey. This new organization offers a unique hybrid process that combines aspects of arbitration and mediation.

The Center aims to provide resolutions to cross-border business disputes that can be confirmed as judgments in 172 countries under the New York Convention, thereby offering a vital resource for international businesses operating out of or into the United States.

The initiative reflects New Jersey’s potential to serve as a critical hub for international dispute resolution.
