Rajah & Tann, one of Singapore’s Big Four law firms, has received approval from China’s State Council to launch a new office in Shenzhen later this year. This will be the firm’s second office in China. The Shenzhen office will be spearheaded by Kian Heong Hew, a disputes partner who joined Rajah & Tann in January from Kewei Law Firm, a joint operation with Herbert Smith Freehills in China.
