Harris has maintained substantial support within Big Law since her 2020 presidential bid. Lawyers and employees of law firms were among the top groups bankrolling Democratic presidential candidates in the 2020 primary, a trend that is likely to continue.
Paul Weiss chair Brad Karp noted that he is collaborating with many business leaders to raise funds for Harris’ campaign, highlighting the anticipated high expenses of the upcoming election.
