Apollo Global Management Inc. has confirmed a $6.3 billion all-cash acquisition of International Game Technology Plc’s (IGT) gaming division and Everi Holdings Inc. The deal, expected to be finalized by the end of the third quarter of 2025, will result in the formation of a new entity combining the complementary assets of both IGT and Everi.
IGT’s product range includes video, electronic table games, and its iconic Wheel of Fortune titles, while Everi Holdings offers an extensive selection of Bingo and casino gaming options. The consolidation aims to leverage the strengths of both companies to potentially reshape the gaming and gambling industry.
This move highlights Apollo Global’s ongoing investment interest in the gaming and leisure sector. The investment firm was previously reported to be among the potential buyers for IGT’s global gaming operations last year, according to Bloomberg News.
