San Diego-based practice management and integrated payment software provider CARET, formerly known as AbacusNext, recently laid off at least three of its top executives. This decision came in an effort to recover profits following the sale of their flagship product HotDocs to Mitratech.
Executives affected include CEO Keri Gohman, President and Chief Revenue Officer Joanna Trimble, and Vice President of GTM Operations and Customer Success Anne McNutly. The layoffs occurred between mid-June and July, approximately “five to six weeks ago”, based on information from a knowledgeable source.
