Two veterans of legal media have partnered to launch a communications firm aimed at representing legal and business clients in a variety of capacities, including marketing, media relations, and crisis management.
Named LIMELIGHT, the new firm has been founded by Kenneth Gary and Erin Harrison. Both founders are former legal journalists who have extensive experience at ALM, and have held various roles in public relations, marketing, and business development.
Their intention with LIMELIGHT is to leverage technology and industry expertise to assist clients navigating complex legal and business landscapes. The services on offer include strategic planning, media relations, crisis management, content creation, digital and social media marketing, video production, and event management.
“We created LIMELIGHT to address the evolving needs of businesses operating in highly regulated industries and a digital-first world,” said Gary. “Our extensive understanding of where law and business converge allows us to develop novel data-driven strategies that deliver tangible results for our clients.”
Gary, who has a background in both law and journalism, previously served as chief growth officer at Infinite Global and was a partner at Baretz+Brunelle. At ALM, he served as publisher and later vice president and group publisher for publications including The National Law Journal and Legal Times.
Harrison, who was with ALM from 2013-2017, held roles such as associate publisher and editor-in-chief of Inside Counsel and Legaltech News. She has also been a senior vice president at The Bliss Group and NextTech Communications and a managing director at Plat4orm and Baretz+Brunelle.
“Limelight is more than just a communications firm,” Harrison commented. “We are strategic partners who help our clients navigate unique challenges, seize new business opportunities, and achieve their objectives with speed and precision.”
