In a strategic move to bolster its energy and climate practice, Foley Hoag has welcomed Rebecca Chilton as a new partner, the law firm announced Wednesday.
Chilton brings a wealth of experience in the renewable energy sector, where she has advised a diverse array of stakeholders including developers, lenders, contractors, sponsors, financial institutions, equity investors, and others. Her practice areas encompass project finance, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, site development, and construction contracting.
In addition to her advisory role for major players in the renewable energy field, Chilton also works with smaller financial institutions to develop clean energy financing platforms. This includes facilitating loans and tax credit investments in renewable energy projects and providing counsel to private debt funds lending outside of the renewables space.
