Ballard Spahr to Merge with Lane Powell, Expanding Nationwide Presence

Ballard Spahr is set to merge with Seattle-based law firm Lane Powell at the beginning of 2025. According to Law.com Compass data from 2022, Lane Powell reported revenues of $102 million, which will significantly bolster Ballard Spahr’s 2023 revenue of $484 million. Upon completion, the merger will create a combined entity with an estimated head count of over 750 attorneys, extending Ballard Spahr’s reach with 18 offices across the United States.
