Legal professionals are adopting generative AI technology at a rate five times faster than they embraced cloud software, setting a new trend in the industry, according to Everlaw’s 2024 Ediscovery Innovation Report. The report reveals that a significant number of attorneys, paralegals, IT staff, and partners are increasingly relying on gen AI for e-discovery purposes.
The findings are based on a survey conducted among 267 legal professionals in May and June of this year. As the industry shifts towards more advanced technological solutions, many experts predict that generative AI will soon become the standard tool for managing e-discovery processes.
