Several top law firms have recently announced new chief operating officers and other administrative hires, as c-suite hiring in Big Law continues at a fast pace. Over the last six weeks, Law.com tracked at least a dozen c-suite hires in Big Law, including COO hires at firms like McGuireWoods, Goodwin Procter, Faeger Drinker Biddle & Reath, and Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith.
The consequence of a professional “wall” is usually turnover, noted an industry observer, about the fast pace of c-suite moves.
