BARBRI, a prominent player in the legal education field, has announced its acquisition of SkillBurst Interactive, a company specializing in on-demand learning programs tailored for law firms and corporate legal departments.
In a statement, BARBRI indicated that the integration of SkillBurst Interactive into its portfolio would provide innovative multilingual and interactive learning solutions. The move is designed to align with the evolving demands of law firms and legal professionals. Currently, BARBRI offers a wide array of professional education courses, including certificate programs, specialized training modules, and an extensive library of CLE-approved courses and webinars.
Last year, SkillBurst established a partnership with a consortium of major law firms to create on-demand and interactive training programs in generative AI for lawyers. These programs are now available to other firms on a subscription basis, illustrating SkillBurst’s commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advances in legal education. Since acquiring the Association of Certified eDiscovery Specialists (ACEDS) in 2015, BARBRI has also provided training and certification for e-discovery professionals.
