Rachel Gartner has joined Holland & Knight as a partner in the firm’s public policy and regulation group based in New York, as announced on Monday. Gartner brings her extensive expertise in advising on a variety of Food and Drug Administration-regulated products, including food, dietary supplements, and cosmetics.
Gartner’s practice also covers related advertising and intellectual property matters. Her client portfolio spans major corporations, mid-size companies, startups, and other publicly traded and privately held businesses. Furthermore, she collaborates with food and health and wellness companies to ensure they are in compliance with relevant federal and state marketing and advertising regulations.
Gartner’s role will include advising on Federal Trade Commission standards for substantiating marketing claims and meeting the requirements of the National Advertising Division.
