Jonathan Meyer has rejoined Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP as a partner in its governmental practice and head of the firm’s national security team in Washington, D.C., according to the firm’s announcement earlier this week.
Meyer’s practice areas will include national security, homeland security, government investigations, cybersecurity, and technology. Prior to this role, Meyer served as the General Counsel for the Department of Homeland Security, where he provided legal counsel on a broad range of issues pertinent to national security and public safety.
This strategic hire highlights Sheppard Mullin’s commitment to expanding its capabilities in key sectors as clients face increasing complexity in compliance and cybersecurity issues. Meyer’s return to the firm is expected to bolster its legal expertise and enhance service offerings in the governmental and national security arenas.
