The DC Circuit has ruled that betting on the 2024 election can resume, rebuffing the Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s (CFTC) concerns regarding potential risks to election integrity. The CFTC “has not substantiated that risks to election integrity are likely to materialize if Kalshi[Ex] is allowed to operate its exchange during the pendency of this appeal,” the court stated.
