Bryan Warner, previously a deputy general counsel and company secretary at Budweiser Brewing Co. APAC Ltd., has transitioned from the world of beverages to sports. He has taken on the role of senior vice president and head of legal at Madison Square Garden Sports Corp, a company known for managing the iconic Madison Square Garden arena, home to the New York Knicks and Rangers. Warner’s appointment was disclosed in a recent SEC filing.
Warner’s professional journey has seen him move through notable legal environments, having previously been an associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton and then advancing his career at Anheuser-Busch InBev, a major player in the brewing industry. His last role at AB InBev’s Asia-Pacific branch involved overseeing legal operations across the region, which required collaborating with numerous law firms, a responsibility befitting his new duties at MSG Sports Corp.
His move to MSG Sports comes after a reshuffle in the company’s top ranks: Jamaal Lesane, the former legal chief, was elevated to the position of Chief Operating Officer in July.
