Michael Guerrero has made a return to Hinshaw & Culbertson as a partner within the firm’s consumer financial services practice, based in Los Angeles. The firm made the announcement on Thursday.
Guerrero brings with him a wealth of experience in advising companies on regulatory and compliance matters connected to various consumer financial products. His expertise spans numerous areas including automotive finance, earned wage access, Buy Now Pay Later services, as well as point-of-sale and personal property financing and leasing. Additionally, his knowledge extends to rent-to-own products, credit cards, and installment loans.
Prior to rejoining Hinshaw & Culbertson, Guerrero was associated with Ballard Spahr. According to the Bloomberg Law report, Guerrero’s role will be integral in navigating the complex financial services landscape, particularly with the growing focus on consumer rights and regulatory compliance.
