Bringing a wealth of experience in complex financial structuring, Smith joins from Butler Snow, where she specialized in New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC) financing transactions.
In her new position, Smith will focus on advising 501(c)(3) organizations, real estate developers, operating businesses, and government entities on intricate NMTC financing strategies. Her expertise extends further as she offers counsel to banks and borrowers in non-NMTC commercial lending as well as tax-exempt bond financing.
