Former Singapore oil tycoon Oon Kuin Lim has filed an appeal against his 17.5-year prison sentence. This sentence was imposed in relation to the collapse of the commodity trading company, Hin Leong Trading Pte. Ltd. Lim’s legal troubles extend beyond the criminal case; he is also involved in civil action against the Singapore law firm Rajah & Tann.
