In a strategic move to bolster its real estate offerings, Eversheds Sutherland has announced the addition of Emanuel Tsourounis II as a partner in its real estate practice group, based in New York. Tsourounis brings a wealth of expertise in complex financial and transactional real estate matters to the firm.
Known for his profound knowledge in the origination, servicing, and restructuring of various financial instruments, Tsourounis has a comprehensive background that includes mortgage and mezzanine loans, revolving credit facilities, and preferred equity investments, along with secondary market transactions. His lending experience is diverse, covering permanent, bridge, and construction loans, as well as those intended for securitization or to be held in portfolio.
Beyond lending, Tsourounis will handle joint venture structuring and negotiation, along with the acquisition and disposition of real estate assets and related equity interests. His role will also encompass “borrower-side” financings, which will provide Eversheds Sutherland with an even broader scope of capabilities for its clients.
