Legal Tech Giants Emerge at 2025 ABA TECHSHOW Startup Alley Voting Begins

Voting has officially commenced for the highly anticipated ninth-annual Startup Alley at ABA TECHSHOW 2025, which will take place in early April. This event provides a platform for legal tech startups to showcase their innovations and compete in a live pitch competition on the opening night of TECHSHOW, held this year in Chicago. The competition not only allows the selected finalists to present their ideas but also provides them with an opportunity to exhibit within a dedicated Startup Alley section at the TECHSHOW exhibit hall.

Selected by a panel of judges from numerous applications, the semifinalists have been announced, and now it is the public’s turn to participate. They are encouraged to review the company summaries and cast their votes to determine which 15 startups will proceed to the finals. Voting is facilitated via an online ballot, which allows each participant to vote up to five times, allocating votes either to five different startups or as desired among their favorites. The deadline for casting votes is midnight Eastern Time on Friday, February 7.

The shortlist includes an array of startups such as AllRize, offering an integrated practice management solution built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Dyspute.ai, which aims to innovate dispute resolution with an AI-powered mediation platform. Lucrative solutions like TimeSentry.ai, which provides automated time tracking for legal professionals, and Clarra, a modern case management system designed for litigation, are also vying for a spot among the 15 finalists.

Each included startup has outlined its unique offerings, target customer base, and growth plans. For instance, AllRize emphasizes their seamless integration capabilities; Clarra focuses on the modernization of case management with AI efficiencies; and Dyspute.ai highlights their use of AI to streamline the resolution process. These features hint at the increasing demand and potential for innovation in the legal tech industry.

The competition at Startup Alley not only aims to showcase these pioneering technological advances but also seeks to foster further innovation and investment within the legal tech space by offering these startups a significant stage to present their breakthroughs. Legal professionals, investors, and tech enthusiasts are all encouraged to participate in the voting process and support the future of legal technology innovation.
