Two lawsuits concerning barratry-solicitation and civil conspiracy, initiated by Tony Buzbee of the Buzbee Law Firm, have been transferred to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. These actions are directed against Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, Roc Nation, and a Mississippi attorney. The suits, which are nearly identical, were initially filed on behalf of Gerardo Garcia in December and Jose Maldonado earlier this month. Both cases will now move forward in the federal court following their transfer.
