Pinsent Masons has announced the opening of a new office in Shenzhen, marking their third location in Mainland China. This strategic move positions the firm within the Qianhai Free Trade Zone, a vital commercial hub designed to serve as China’s gateway for the Belt and Road Initiative and as an innovation center for finance, logistics, technology, and legal services. Kanyi Lui, the firm’s head in China, will transition from Beijing to spearhead operations at the newly established Shenzhen office.
