Jennifer Jacques, a former prosecutor and bank lawyer, has found herself on the other side of the law after admitting to her role in an affordable housing fraud scheme. Jacques pleaded guilty to several felonies for her involvement in a conspiracy with family members to unlawfully acquire affordable housing units in Manhattan. This scheme involved obtaining units they were not eligible for, an initiative that reportedly garnered them hundreds of thousands of dollars. Unsurprisingly, her unlawful actions led to the revocation of her law license.
