Delaware Legislature Advances Key Corporate Law Amendments to Strengthen Business Appeal

Delaware’s Senate has passed SB 21, a bill set to implement changes to the Delaware General Corporation Law. With 20 out of 21 senators voting in favor, the bill gained significant support in the Senate chamber. Senator Bryan Townsend, the bill’s principal sponsor, emphasized that the proposed amendments are critical given the growing concerns about incorporating in Delaware, as well as the heightened competition from states like Texas and Nevada.
