In an advancement of their relationship, Norton Rose Fulbright (NRF) has officially entered into a joint operation with Shanghai Pacific Legal in the Shanghai Free Trade Zone, after five years of collaboration. This development has received approval from the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Justice.
Initially forming a ‘best friends’ arrangement in 2020, during which time Shanghai Pacific’s team expanded from four to 22 lawyers, the joint operation allows both firms to collectively offer foreign and local legal services while staying financially autonomous.
