Dentons Canada has entered into a strategic alliance with Pulse Law, a new technology-centered law firm based in Ontario’s Waterloo area. The collaboration aims to enhance the delivery of legal services in Canada’s tech hub by leveraging the strengths of both firms.
Pulse Law, established by Todd Bissett and Irena Kramer, caters to SMEs, venture-backed firms, investors, and buyers. The Waterloo region, approximately 100 km west of Toronto, hosts a vibrant ecosystem that includes incubators such as Velocity and the Accelerator, and major tech companies like Google and SAP.
This partnership reflects Dentons’ ongoing commitment to providing localized legal support for technology-driven Canadian enterprises, as noted by David Little from Dentons’ venture technology and emerging growth companies group. Despite Dentons’ long-standing involvement in the area, they do not maintain a local office, making the alliance with Pulse Law particularly strategic.
