Silver Lake, a prominent investment firm, has appointed Justin Hamill as its new managing director and chief legal officer. The announcement was made on April 17, marking a significant addition to the firm’s executive team.
Hamill takes over from Karen King, who has been elevated to managing director and chief operating officer. In her new role, King will be responsible for human resources, government affairs, and investor relations, signaling a strategic reshuffle in the firm’s top management structures.
Prior to joining Silver Lake, Hamill had a lengthy association with the firm as its outside counsel for over a decade. His tenure at Latham & Watkins provided him with extensive experience, which will now be channeled into leading Silver Lake’s global legal and compliance operations.
