Rhode Island has officially joined the growing list of states adopting the NextGen Uniform Bar Exam (NextGen UBE), becoming the 36th state and the 40th jurisdiction to make this decision. The Rhode Island Supreme Court, following an extensive study conducted by its Board of Bar Examiners, ruled to implement the NextGen UBE starting with the July 2028 bar examination.
