Gaffney Painter leaves behind a robust prosecutorial career, having served as an assistant US attorney for the Southern District of Ohio as well as the Southern District of New York. Her expertise encompasses a wide range of legal fields including cybercrime, public corruption, racketeering, civil rights, violent crime, fraud, and tax offenses.
Noteworthy among her cases was the prosecution of Larry Householder, the former Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives, which underscored her capability in handling high-profile legal matters.
