In a strategic move, Haynes Boone has announced the addition of Moni Sarmadi as a partner in its real estate finance practice based in New York. This appointment marks a homecoming for Sarmadi, who rejoins the firm after a notable tenure at Goldman Sachs.
With a specialization in structuring and originating complex real estate loans, Sarmadi will bring his expertise in commercial real estate lending as well as mortgage and mezzanine financings. His focus will primarily be on fund and bank clients, addressing institutional lenders’ needs.
Sarmadi’s previous experience as a vice president within Goldman Sachs’ real estate investment team adds significant value to his new role at Haynes Boone. His transition back to the law firm is anticipated to bolster its real estate finance capabilities.
