Sullivan & Cromwell LLP has announced the return of Regina L. Readling as a partner in its executive compensation group in New York. Readling, who previously served at Sullivan & Cromwell, rejoins the firm after a tenure at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where she was a partner in the Executive Compensation & Benefits practice.

During her time at Weil, Readling focused on executive compensation and employee benefits aspects of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, initial public offerings, and other strategic transactions. She also advised on a broad range of public and private company compensation issues, counseling companies, boards of directors, compensation committees, and executives on tax, securities law, disclosure, and corporate governance matters related to executive compensation arrangements.

Readling’s return to Sullivan & Cromwell is expected to bolster the firm’s capabilities in handling complex executive compensation matters, particularly in the context of significant corporate transactions. Her extensive experience aligns with Sullivan & Cromwell’s commitment to providing comprehensive legal services to its clients.

Prior to her initial tenure at Sullivan & Cromwell, Readling earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from SUNY Buffalo Law School and her B.S., cum laude, from Bates College. She is also an active member of the SUNY Buffalo Law School Alumni NYC Steering Committee and the Buffalo Law Review Alumni Board of Consultants.
