EvenUp Unveils AI Innovations to Transform Personal Injury Law Practice with New Playbooks and Voice Agent Features

EvenUp, a legal technology company specializing in artificial intelligence to revamp personal injury (PI) law practice, has unveiled enhancements to its platform with the introduction of two new features: AI Playbooks and Voice Agent. These additional capabilities, detailed in a recent announcement, aim to improve case analysis and client communication for personal injury lawyers.

AI Playbooks

EvenUp’s new AI Playbooks feature seamlessly integrates into its Claims Intelligence Platform. It is designed to analyze case files and extract critical insights, thereby reducing the manual effort required for file reviews. The system leverages EvenUp’s proprietary AI model, Piai, to identify patterns and significant facts from uploaded documents. Notably, AI Playbooks can also:

  • Automatically flag potential issues in a case, such as liability or conflicting testimony.
  • Identify high-value case opportunities by highlighting factors like traumatic brain injuries or DUI incidences.
  • Ensure consistent application of firm policies across case evaluations.

Voice Agent

The newly introduced Voice Agent represents a conversational AI aimed at supporting PI firms throughout the case lifecycle, starting from care management. Although currently available in an early-access phase, Voice Agent is already being utilized by select customers to manage client outreach efficiently. According to EvenUp, the feature helps law firms maintain communication and identify client needs, providing continuous support beyond initial client intake. Jack Bazerkanian, managing partner at C&B Law Group, shared that the technology aids in scaling personalized support without overburdening staff workloads.

Additionally, EvenUp announced enhancements to its AI Drafts suite, which now includes a one-click document regeneration capability and enhanced exhibit management tools that streamline document handling processes. These updates reflect EvenUp’s commitment to providing efficient technological solutions to the legal industry, as evidenced by its successful fundraising efforts, including a $135 million Series D round led by Bain Capital Ventures.
