In a significant move to tackle human rights abuses, the Haitian government has announced the establishment of specialized judicial units. The newly established judicial centers will consist of 25 magistrates, an initiative underscored by Amnesty International’s Americas Director, Ana Piquer, who emphasized the need for these units to prioritize crimes against children.
