Amnesty International has called for the criminal investigation of 87 Iranian officials following its comprehensive report on alleged crimes against humanity during the 2022 crackdown on the Woman, Life, Freedom protests. Significantly, it highlights the disproportionate impact on Balochi and Kurdish Iranians, who, despite constituting a minority, accounted for 62 percent of the documented fatalities.
