UK law firm Stephenson Harwood’s greater China associated firm, Wei Tu Law Firm, has announced the recent hire of partner Joanna Jiang, further bolstering its private wealth and corporate practice. Formerly a partner at Beijing-based Zhong Lun Law Firm, Jiang brings her extensive expertise in the area of private wealth management, including cross-border structures and business succession planning, to the Guangzhou-based firm.
Having spent the majority of her career at Zhong Lun, Jiang brings almost a decade worth of experience within the legal profession. She began her journey at Zhong Lun as an associate in 2012 before progressing to partner in 2019.
Known for her specialties in private wealth, M&A and private equity investments, she also offers counsel for Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP). Her role in advising on business succession planning, trust and estate planning, and cross-border structures solidifies Jiang as a key player in the private wealth realm.
