Following a long and fruitful career at two of the world’s leading law firms, a group of tenured lawyers have taken the next step in their careers by establishing their independent practice in Tokyo. Aquaxis Law Offices was launched recently by former Clifford Chance and K&L Gates lawyers, including Japanese lawyer Ayuko Nemoto.
Nemoto, who has dedicated over 15 years of her career in various esteemed international firms, including Clifford Chance and K&L Gates, was most recently a part of Sonderhoff & Einsel Law and Patent Office, before making this transition.
Besides Nemoto, Aquaxis has four additional partners who have come from the prestigious ranks of Clifford Chance and K&L Gates as well, namely Atsushi Yamashita and Naoki Watanabe. These accomplished legal professionals bring a wealth of combined experience, positioning Aquaxis to make a significant impact in its local market.
