Yesterday, Canadian legal technology companies CiteRight and Jurisage announced their plans for a merger under the Jurisage name. As reported by Law.com, both companies are known for unique technological contributions to the Canadian legal sector.
CiteRight is a litigation drafting platform, while Jurisage’s software specializes in the instant extraction and embedding of legal insights from caselaw using artificial intelligence. Their technology is already being implemented by some of Canada’s most significant legal practices, including Borden Ladner Gervais and Gowling WLG.
The merger aims to create an integrated, comprehensive legal research and drafting solution. While it is currently available throughout Canada, plans to soon extend access to the U.S. are also underway.
