Susan Rohol, the erstwhile privacy chief for Warner Bros. Discovery, has made the leap into private legal practice with the firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher, according to Bloomberg Law.
As a new addition to the firm, Rohol will be working within several specialist areas, including privacy, cybersecurity, data strategy, AI, and emerging technologies. Her former roles have seen her provide advice on a broad spectrum of topics, from technology and privacy, to artificial intelligence and global government affairs, making her a valuable and well-rounded asset to Willkie Farr & Gallagher.
Rohol’s previous legal experience does not solely rest within the entertainment and content creation industry, however. Her career also included a tenure at sportswear giant Nike, where she acted as the global director of intellectual property and privacy policy.
Split between Willkie’s Los Angeles and New York offices, Rohol’s new position will allow her experience in both law and technology to serve her well in navigating the complexities of privacy and cybersecurity in the ever-evolving landscape of AI and emerging technologies.
