Goodwin & Procter, a law firm based in the U.S., has advanced 40 of its attorneys to partnership. Although falling short of its prior record of 58, this is still the firm’s second largest partnership promotion on its books. This information reveals Boston as the epicenter of these promotions, accounting for 15 of the 40 new partners – which is not a surprising twist considering the firm was originally established in this city.
15% of the promotions went to the firm’s Europe and Asia offices. Specifically, two of these promotions were in London, one each in Munich, Paris, Singapore, and Luxembourg. In another new development, Goodwin & Procter has also recently brought on-board a partner from Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft to its London office.
