Charles Wu, a former partner at Beijing firm Han Kun Law Offices, has moved to legal powerhouse Clyde & Co as a U.S.-qualified counsel in Hong Kong. Wu has a significant history with Han Kun, having spent nearly a decade at the firm, starting as an associate in 2014, and ascending to the position of partner in 2020.
In the past, Wu had transitioned to Greater China from New York, where he was associated with American firm Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft. With Wu’s arrival, Clyde & Co’s Hong Kong team expands to include 32 lawyers, nine of who hold partner status.
